Product Description

We present Copper Octoate, which is an anti-fouling agent generally utilized in ship bottoms paints. It hydrolyses slowly into Octoic Acid and Copper Hydroxide in the existence of seawater. Also, it is utilized as a rot resistant chemical in cordage, textiles, etc., and for preventing the growth of mildew and dry rot in wood. Owing to its insecticidal properly, it gives timber/lumber a long-lasting protection against attacking of termites, ambrosia, beette, etc. Besides, Copper Octoate can be used on textile fabrics by spraying, dipping, or impregnation.
